Iridescent (2014) is LED light sculpture, which consists acrylic rods, bright white led stripes and wooden casing. Unlike the directional projectile of the artificial lighting, white LED stripes and acrylic rods create a prism-like reflection that projects the light over the surrounded space, much alike to the celestial event in unison. This sculptural piece aims to investigate the immediate connections to the boundaries of mind, a path for transcending matters between natural and artificial, and a phenomenological process that goes beyond our intentions or controls.
