rendezvous brings broadcast signals into a darkened room. Antennas pull in live television, which plays on CRT monitors set behind translucent netting, their flickering images half veiled. In front of them, parallel scrim walls catch a projection of flashing colored squares, so that visitors look through one layer of light to reach another.
Faint, distorted frequencies drift through the space. As visitors move between the scrims and the monitors, their bodies pass into the projection and cast shadows across the layers, briefly joining the field they are looking at. The work becomes a meeting place for signals arriving from elsewhere and bodies present in the room, neither fully resolving the other.
