Presentation at the International Symposium for Visual Culture 2026
Sangjun presented Keepsakes in Every Hair at the International Symposium for Visual Culture (ISVC) 2026, held September 19–20 at the Morris and Gwendolyn Cafritz Foundation Arts Center, Montgomery College. The talk traced a sustained inquiry into perception as a relational and temporal process, from early work on perception between viewer and technological system, through mediated temporality, to recent research in which computational systems are configured as machine perceivers. The series extends this inquiry by approaching memory as situated and distributed rather than privately held.
